Attending online conference

As a stay at home mom to three kids, including a 3 year old boy, I seldom attend any classes or seminars nowadays. Instead, I prefer to attend online events as I can stay at home and attend them during my free time.

I am currently attending an online homeschool conference now, which is about homeschooling STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), sometimes art is included which becomes STEAM. It’s not a free conference, but USD$15. I have been considering for quite some time before I enrolled the conference. I am homeschooling my children and I have always been learning how to teach STEM subjects, especially at home. I hope to learn some good methods or secrets from this conference.

Moreover, there is a digital swag bag with some discounts and freebies which I hope I will be able to make good use of them. I know I can search online and make my own lessons, but by attending this conference, I hope I can just save some time on researching and just use some of the materials straight. Sometimes I have to challenge myself between “saving time” or “saving money”. Besides learning and using the materials, I might also get to know other homeschoolers or homeschooling websites.
