As a homeschooling family, I always seize the opportunity to attend the online homeschool convention or conference especially if it is free to access. Homeschooling is not very common in my country, and I always like to join these online events and see if there are anything I can learn from others or resources I can grab and later integrate into our homeschool. I am thankful for some homeschooling families or bloggers who are very generous to share these homeschool sessions for free, even for just a period of time. I can always take the opportunity to learn from those experienced homeschoolers.
I am currently listening to 2019 Digital Homeschool Convention sessions, hosted by At Home With Holly. She is a homeschooling mom, and she has been hosting the homeschool convention since year 2016. She is choosing a focus each year, and the focus for this year is “Alternative Methods and Slow Daily Rhythms”. I am actually homeschooling using an alternative approach which is Waldorf Education, and I always want to learn how to set up a slow daily rhythm in our family, and hence I am attending to find out any other great information that might be useful for our homeschool. I am going to find out more about Charlotte Mason and Classical Education as well.
Do you know any homeschoolers?
