Asteroid Apophis close approach to Earth

Asteroid Apophis named after the Egyptian god of chaos by NASA will be seen in the sky on April 13, 2029. The 340m-wide asteroid will approach the Earth close enough, creating an incredible opportunity for science. But NASA has confirmed that it will pass the Earth at a distance of 19,000 miles, so no need to worry about it.
