I saw these monkeys for the first time in a national park. They roam freely and have no fear of humans. They were so interesting to watch. especially they way they care for their babies. These monkeys are called Grey Langurs. They seem to be peace loving creatures unlike the monkeys we see locally.
As we waited for our safari jeep these monkeys were up to the usual monkeys tricks swing from one branch to another and playing with each other. They never attempted to snatch our food bags or juice bottles like the other monkeys do.
I guess the forest has enough to offer them and they don’t have to snatch things from humans. I love the neat little cape around their heads and face.

I can only see monkeys on TV or at the Zoo, dear friend .. they are wonderful and fancy animals
They are animals that grab your attention like no other animal and yet they are the naughtiest.
It really is, my friend
I am fortunate to have many places in Indonesia to observe various types of monkeys.
I know the number of monkeys there Albert. Its so much fun to watch them. 🙂
Wow! Have you ever visited my country?
There are many shrines in Thailand that the monkeys run freely in. I loved watching them from the distance. in the us the only way to see them is in zoos or in some parts of florida.
I know about the monkey shrines in Thailand. Monkeys are amazing interesting creatures.
they are, i enjoyed seeing them in Thailand.
I have not seen this breed but we had a baby monkey who visited us and around and gave us a good time with his innocent pranks. You guessed it I have loads of photos and video clips on him.
As long as they don’t get into your home you can enjoy them. We have had terrible experiences with monkeys.
He was a tiny guy and we had named him Charlie. Preiti always wagged her tail when she saw him but from a distance.
Preiti liked him? I am amazed. My dogs hate monkeys, I guess more after they entered our home once. .
This one was alone and was not aggressive in any way.
