I was a bit nervous going on my first cruise vacation but now I am in love with cruising. I have only been on two so far but hope to go on many more.
A cruise is the ideal getaway, where you are totally pampered. The food is plentiful and delicious, the nightly entertainment is a treat and visiting a different place each day is exciting. My first cruise was eleven nights with 9 different ports of call. Of course many travelers never leave the ship as there are so many activities aboard for those who choose to stay behind.
If you have never been on a cruise ship, I highly recommend it. On a cruise you are in a world of your own with all the comforts of a resort. Arriving at a new port each day, taking a tour and enjoying the culture of the land is truly exciting.

The Alaska State Ferries is as close as I’ve come to a cruise ship.
First the ferry, next a cruise ship.
I’ve never been on a cruise ship. But it is my wish to visit her once.
