A Wake Up Call

It’s been rough here on the homefront and yet I am so blessed. Today I took some time to look at social media and read some different things. I believe that reading this was time well spent and I will go read it again. It was sent to me by a stranger and I thanked her for it.

It’s not okay for people to take over people’s property and ruin their livelihoods. I don’t care what race, religion, or creed. That is not what this country was about.

My brother is in ICU fighting for his life and it looks like he is loosing. I got the call that I probably shouldn’t come down because there are people protesting down by the hospital. I want to go see him. I don’t want to live in an America where it’s not safe to go visit a family member in a hospital. I don’t understand how ruining people’s lives helps to promote anything that has value. If you have to burn down a building to make your point, you need how to learn how to use your words, your logic, and your heart.

This needs to end. Lives matter, colors don’t.
