I bought this plant a couple of years ago. This was the color of the flowers when I got it home. I have many pictures of the four roses on this plant when I brought it home.
However, right from the second season onward the color of the flowers have changed to a watered down version of this original, vibrant color. I was told it could have happened because of the exposure to the sun and also because of the soil condition.
I have re potted this plant with the best soil mix, given it good organic fertilizers. I have even placed it in a slightly more shaded place, but nothing will bring back the original color of this flower.

A beautiful rose. It’s really a little weird, I’ve never experienced anything like this.
That bis right, this is weird, it has never happened before to any of my other roses.
Never had this happen to roses but I have to my hydrangeas.
Hydrangeas are known to change color depending on soil Ph but it is not the same for roses.
I don’t think you can return the original color. Save this one and do not expose it to direct sunlight.
Hmm …that would be sad. On another gardening forum I was told to add more organic material to the soil mixture. I hope that works, I will do that today.
