I was just fooling around the dahlias capturing them from different angles. The light, the shade, the burst of color and the angles do provide you with a lot of entertainment if you like photography.
For me its the most calming thing to do. Though I was in the park with crowds of people around I was in my quite peaceful place doing the thing I love. There was one curious child around who wanted to see all my pictures and tried to take similar pictures with her tiny point and shoot camera.
She kept asking me question like – from where should I get this shot? how did you do that or this? I loved her passion and curiosity. We had fun together for a while before her parents decided to go the other way.
She showed me her macros of a grasshopper and a bee. She is really good , I hope she follows her passion.

Wonderful picture … many times I paint all sorts of trappery … sometimes some even manage to delete the others

I do take some odd pictures because I use photos for collage. Something that might make a good background can be an unusually odd picture to have. I also have to make myself take my camera with me. It doesn’t leave the house much.

My camera is my constant companion and I do not miss anything that I feel needs to be captured.
A great companion too. I don’t carry my camera so much because its heavy , I need to get a point and shoot camera, mine got robbed.
Mine is a Sony digital DSC H 300 not very light but manageable
I guess it works well for you Grace. I am going to get a tiny one that can fit into my purse. 😀
As long as it has all the features making clicking easy size does not matter
