The islands of Cres and Lošinj belong to the Cres-Lošinj archipelago island group in the Kvarner bay, the largest on the Croatian Adriatic. The island of Cres is the largest Croatian island (the length of the island is 68km-maximum width 13km) with the island of Lošinj connected with a movable bridge. lifting bridge and it was lifted manually. After thorough renovation, now it is a mobile bridge that is fully automated. The residential bridge opens every day from 9 am and 17 pm for about so much time it closes the road-limiting bridge is only 20 tonnes. when crossing the canal, vessels are coming from the south, because only one vessel can be found in the canal. The width of the canal is about 8m and the maximum depth is about 3.5m so it is intended only for smaller vessels.

I have never seen such mobile bridges.
Milena I do not-on Lošinj have as few as 2
We also have here different channels and of course, to be able the boat to pass, they need to have this mobile bridge… that goes up and down.
I also went sometimes up and down after restoration, but the hydraulics move to the left
ahhh maybe it is better they won’t change it anyway if it will be for the best.
Have never seen such mobile fully automated bridges, very interesting!!!
Anastasia then you have to visit Croatia
A very interesting bridge … I’ve already seen it
I am very interesting – have you already seen what it looks like when they close the road?
I have never seen this type of bridge. A great post lado.
This is really something interesting at all when you close the road and you can watch in peace how everything is going
