2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Sweet Sixteen

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is down to its final sixteen teams.  The Sweet Sixteen games will be played on Thursday and Friday.  Let me know who you think will advance to the quarterfinals because there are so many good match-ups.  For example, Florida State defeated Gonzaga last season in the tournament.  Michigan and Texas Tech are both great on defense.  Virginia and Oregon both play outstanding defense.  North Carolina and Auburn both play at a high tempo.  Virginia Tech defeated Duke during the regular season.  Make your picks.

  1. I’m so proud of Purdue after seeing that they took out Tennessee yesterday. Today I hope to make it out to a sports bar in Ukrainian Village to watch the Michigan State game

    • I know that you will have fun tonight because that game against LSU will be awesome. Both teams hit the glass with reckless abandon.

        • I hope that you were able to wear that Michigan State shirt to work. The thinking behind Barrett taking the last shot is that he draws fouls when he goes to the lane, but the referees stay off of the whistle in the last 30 seconds unless it is really blatant. Coach K was overthinking in that situation and wanted to prove everyone wrong all season. We all told him to make sure Zion has the ball at the end of the game.

          • What is sweet about this is that they have potential to match up next year too. I will be watching Saturdays game vs Texas Tech while at work. I didn’t get the chance to pull out the Michigan State shirt, but after work tomorrow I will pull it out to wear with cardigan

        • Purdue definitely surprised me though, but all they had to do was box out on that missed free throw. The Michigan State vs Duke game will be so interesting.
