First of all, there are some interesting murals of lions above the windows of this house.
Second, the cracks in the roof resemble eyes. They are shaped like that because they were built by masons, for whom the “eye” is an important symbol.

Cool eyes on the roof although the owner of the “eye” idea has become an issue of conversation everywhere.
Yeah, but in my part of the country the eyes are everywhere and these houses were built by Saxon masons. I wonder how other parts of the world use the ‘eye’.
I thought they looked like eyes.
