Funny how these bluebird couples are like married couples in a way. Sometimes the male builds the nest, does all the work, other times it is the female. This couple has the female with the pine straw in her mouth (if you look close you can see the pine straw) while the male is chasing off the sparrows. That is a good plan. Better photos to come hopefully, as this progresses.
