We finally made it. It took a little over two hours. We will stay until it cools down. We have lunch in our packs, and snacks for the dogs.

Well! It was rough carrying everything, but I a glad you had lunch with you, and that you have time to rest before it is necessary to go back.
The lunch tasted so good. We spent probably 2-3 hours before heading back.
Be happy you made it. Berating yourself is not useful.
