Placa de Espanya, or the Spanish Aquare, is one of the most visited places in the city. It was built in 1929 for an exhibition and since then it is one of the beauties of the city. Climbing through the stairs it offers a great view on some part of the city. During the night this beautiful square that has several fountains turnes into a real magic. Therefore that very place is known as ‘the magical fountains’ as well.

    • Indeed it is! Even though I have to admit that the Plaza de España in Seville is way better than this one. Let’s hope the Catalans won’t get me wrong haha 😀
