Pamela, I think they have them in many parts of the world. The tree is native to China.

@RexTrulove I’ve never noticed any fragrance from these flowers, but they do look pretty during their short lives.
It rather reminds me of a hawthorn we used to have, except that the haw flowers were white and intensely fragrant.
