I never remember my granddad standing. He was very ill by the time I was born. He passed away when I was seven. I spent hours sitting on his lap or in his chair with him playing games, reading stories or simply hanging out.
my grandfathers were huge influences in my life. My father’s father died when I was 11 (almost 12). My mothers father died after my daughter was born! He loved my daughter!
