Woodland's Historical Estate's Various Flowers - Part 2

Woodland’s Historical House and Estate are in the Waikato country about an hour and 15 minutes drive from where I live in Auckland, if you don’t stop on the way for petrol

Continuing a story from my first post, I just got a very different selection of flowers in the gardens of “Woodland’s Historical Estate. They have a much wider variety and I have only put in a few of these.

#2 A type of Flower

Maybe some one here will know its name? They are plentiful in New Zealand and are considered a pest.

They look gorgeous, it’s interesting that they are considered pest.

  This plant is a pest as it is invasive and not a native of NZ. It takes over gardens and its very hard to get rid of.

Some type of Lily perhaps?

  Possibly a type of Lily, although some one told me that this flower is poisonous. Pays to wash your hands after you touch it.

#3 A Rose

Pale yellow and pink one amongst others in a rose bush.

Pink petals and brown centres, the centre has a soft texture.

I cannot tell you how wonderful those flowers were today. It has been wet and gray in Maryland for nearly 3 months. The sheet beauty of the flowers was amazing!
