Wander project Wisconsin Dells (Underwater)

Continuing our Dells adventure (there were several hundred pictures taken). Underwater photography is hard at times. Lighting is always the first problem. Clearness or visibility in the water is the next issue. All of the underwater pictures shared today were taken at the Indoor Pool section of the Wisconsin Dells Amusement park by my daughter. I would like to say that buying the TG-1 camera from Olympus was the product of great planning. But I have to be honest; it was merely luck.

Well not luck, as a technology person with young children, I was trying to avoid the inevitable. My children would often ask to take pictures with the camera. I don’t have an issue with that; I learned at a very early age to take pictures. But I also learned from my father. My father always had good cameras (Pentax Film Cameras to be exact). I always had my Kodak Instamatic 110 camera. So I got a second digital camera that was good quality, but tough.

The tough park had to include being dropped from four feet or so (the height of all three kids at that time). As you can see from the images shared today, the other value prop was the ability to take pictures underwater. We ended up (we still have the Olympus TG series camera’s in the house) with lots of fun underwater pictures from the trip to the Dells. Plus I didn’t have to worry about the camera taking the wear and tear of children!
