Red Rocks, Colorado

While visiting the Red Rocks area and Amphitheater for a day trip away from the Alpine green of RMNP, I was overwhelmed by the seeming alien to earth views all around me. The terrain changed so quickly from one rock extreme to the next, I missed it while engaged in conversation, and plotting a course. The red rock layers of various hues, show all the changes this planet has been thru for billions and billions of years. It amazes me how one hardened top layer area can protect a projection such as this from the rain erosion, that even desserts contend with on a planetary timeline. I have a neat picture of my children’s sand-pile, with rocks suspended in the air by towering sand pillars, that did not wash away in the rains. Understanding this concept is to understand factors associated with dating erosion, and earths True History.
