The beach at the Grosse Point Lighthouse which is located at 2601 Sheridan Road in Evanston, Illinois. The entire complex is now a park. It was a cold (low 60°F, cold for August) and cloudy day. I was surprised there was anyone there.
The panorama was stitched together from four images taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. The stitching was done using Affinity Photo 1.5 which I also used to crop to get rid of the dead space. I then used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and saturation.
