If you and your family enjoy Insecta Lepidoptera, then the Butterfly Wonderland is definitely worth a visit. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, the facility boasts to have upwards of 3000 butterflies winging about their enclosure. Step out of the dry Arizona climate into the Butterfly Wonderland’s tropical atrium and feast your eyes on our flighty friends along with numerous luscious plants and flowers.
In the “Butterfly Emergence Gallery”, we were lucky enough to see some of the butterflies emerge from their cocoons or chrysalises. In addition to the butterflies, the facility also houses reptiles, bees, spiders, scorpions, and tropical fish. Below, I’ve included some pictures from our visit. 😉
