If you’re visiting the Denver area, another fun place to take the kids is the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado. Embark on a short winding hike through the jungle like pavilion while taking in the beautiful sights. Unlike the dry mountain air that you’ll encounter outside the pavilion, the interior of the butterfly enclosure is humid and misty. In addition to butterflies, they have a number of other creepy crawlies on display. Plus, they have a small aquatic exhibit as well. They also have an area where your little ones can color, climb a web, or interact with more hands on displays.
