Bran Castle

Bran Castle (Romanian: Castelul Bran; German: Törzburg; Hungarian: Törcsvár).

Also known as the Castle of Vlad III Dracula!

Sounds a little frightening, but it’s not!

The castle is a beautiful building located on a hill above the pass Rooker – Bran linking the Romanian province of Transylvania and Wallachia.

In 1920, the city council of Brasov decided that Bran Castle would be given to Queen Maria, who reconstructed and furnished it with artifacts mainly from her time, including traditional furniture and tapestries.

Practice, the legend of Vlad III Dracula is presented in one of the halls…

  1. Well, that castle certainly does not look crazy or inhabited or ghostly. It is rather a beautiful, well kept castle. I wish I could have written a comment on every picture but every time I tried (and this is the third day of this happening to me), Virily just freezes and then I have to reload and try again but still cannot post a comment under each picture. • P.S. I just downloaded Google Chrome again and made sure it was for Microsoft 10 which I have on my laptop and I am still having the same problem. I think (but I am not sure) that it might be due to the fact that Microsoft is apparently trying to push users to use their browser Bing more than others. But I do not like Bing so far. I am at a loss…

          • P.S. again. Sorry about that. I decided to use Bing and now I can post under every picture as you might have noticed. So I guess for Virily it will have to be Bing and not Google from now on.
