This is Auckland, New Zealand

New Zealand is an island as large as the United Kingdom or England. Surrounded by water. In Auckland there are more beaches than I can name.

I did this map of Auckland on my iPad pro. I live in the main part, which is an isthmus, that is surrounded by water on 3 sides.

You can drive from East Coast to West Coast within half an hour in the day or maybe 45mins depending on where you are going.

At the moment the best way to get around Auckland is by car. Having a car is essential in Auckland, unless you live in Central Auckland. Although there is public transport, it’s not the best. There are trains running regularly, where the trains are – it’s a good service. The buses are not so good. Taxi services are alright. From the Auckland airport, you can get a Shuttle service, it’s an excellent service.

The Ferry service is based in Central Auckland is an excellent service, and there are some tours you can do.

I believe in the future, there may be people willing to drive tourists around in their own cars. Although many people will go on a bus tour that takes several days, depending on where they go.
