Nikola Krstic, the graduate of the Electrical Engineering School “Nikola Tesla”, (Belgrade, Serbia), designed a glove that, according to the principle of a white stick, leads blind and visually impaired people. The primary “job” of the device is to help the blind and the visually impaired in the real world easier to handle and get information. The glove uses specific technologies based on the current expression of the person to interpret emotions and assess their intensity. This information is combined with the sound that the one is hearing and thus comes to a final conclusion.
Technical development has not yet been completed, and, even though the glove now has a greater part of the functionality, it is necessary to complete systems for identifying objects and interpreting emotions, which are the unique value of the invention. The invention is just a test. At that stage, the blind and the visually impaired will have the opportunity to test the device, and all their complaints will be respected. Once the user’s needs are learned, the glove will be further developed.
Amazing technology for the blind.
Just great invention, thank you so much for this very interesting post!!!
Thank you. I’m glad you liked my post.
you would think by now we’d have the technology to simply make new eyes
It would be great. I think one day people will be able to make new eyes for people who do not see.
I think we can already clone eyes, the problem is installing them…
Probably so. Soon we will be able to clone all human organs, so people will not depend on the organ donor.
we can already clone them now, it just takes a long time and is too expensive
I’ve heard about this. I am so pleased with the invention. Go technology!
Yes, I am pleased that this will be a great help to blind people.
Very good invention, great to know
I hope that it will improve, and really be of great help to blind people.
Very interesting innovation … every novelty is welcome if it makes life easier for people who do not see it
Hope really is to be of great help to blind people.
