WOD-Training solo this weekend

At this very moment, I am not in a mood to do a long run with clock tower runners on the lakefront trail. My mood stems from wanting to conduct my run solo on my own time versus at 6:30 a.m. with the running group. It would also give me the chance to get in some extra sleep which I lack due to coming off of a week consisting of overnight shifts, Monday to Thursday.

I am in the mood to incorporate cycling into my marathon training today which I have done a lot in the past. Cycling has always been my way to pick up the miles quickly because I utilize a method where every 3 miles cycled equals one mile to running. In my perception it is the easiest way to get the legs into marathon shape without the pounding on the pavement which will come soon after.
