A scary moment occurred in last night’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. With about three minutes left in the second quarter, Celtics point guard Kemba Walker was attempting to complete a steal. While he was going for the ball, he ran head first into teammate Semi Ojeleye.
Walker was stretchered off of the court and was sent to the hospital. Fortunately, he was released because he only suffered a concussion. When looking at the collision, Walker could have compressed his neck and could have damaged his spine to the point of paralysis. Hopefully, the Boston organization will give Kemba a week off to rest and to heal.
Whenever you are on the road, look both ways so that you do not run into a semi.
This doesn’t look good at all.
Not at all – fortunately, it turned out way better than it should have.
Sports can be very dangerous. Our football quarterback is out for the season. Hip injury.
Yes, safety must be the priority. Tua should not have played against Mississippi State.
