There are five bowl games being played today, which means that you are able to watch college football all day long. The first bowl game of the day is the Military Bowl between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Temple Owls that will be played at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, MD.
The next bowl game is the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in New York between the Michigan State Spartans and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Playing this game in Yankee Stadium is quite nostalgic because college football games have been played at Yankee Stadium for almost 100 years.
The crowd will be rocking at the Texas Bowl between Oklahoma State and Texas A&M at the NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. Both fan bases will be rowdy for this game as these two teams used to play against each other every year before Texas A&M left the Big XII for the SEC.
After that, USC will be playing Iowa in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, CA. The contrasting style of play between the two teams will make this game enjoyable to watch as USC loves to go over the top with long passes, while Iowa looks to control the ball with the run.
The final bowl game of the day is the Cheez-It Bowl between Air Force and Washington State at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. No matter how this game turns out, expect for Washington State head coach Mike Leach says something very cheesy.
I would be surprised if Iowa wins. I bet those boys are excited to be over there, being that it’s cold as crap right now in the Midwest.
I was absolutely shocked about Iowa. This was the first game all season in which their offense moved the ball the entire game. Iowa only scored 19 points against Illinois.
I caught some of the highlights on Twitter before I drifted off, lol. Worked some crazy hours due to the holiday. I was proud of Iowa. Would be nice if they played like that against some of the Big Ten elites. Sadly, the only elite I see them beating next year is Wisconsin.
I’ll leave that one at a maybe beating Wisconsin
Wisconsin will be losing a lot of games next season – Taylor is graduating.
That sucks! I’ll have to make it out to one of the Wisconsin bars in Chicago to see some of the faces when they lose.
Texas A&M really let me down this year.
Jimbo Fisher is just there collecting a check. He knows that Texas A&M is not getting past Auburn, LSU, and Alabama. Then, they had to nerve to schedule Clemson as well. They think that they are big-time, but they haven’t been big-time since the ’80’s. I knew that they were going to beat Oklahoma State because they were a big letdown as well. How could they have a 2,000 yard rusher and not beat anyone at all?
Just a shitty conference to enter knowing how good of teams are in the SEC. Must suck recruiting wise too
He’s in it for the long haul since he was given a 10-year contract. He recruits good enough so that they stay around 8-4 and 9-3 every season. Next year, A&M should be loaded and should catch someone slipping.
They actually do not have a bad 2020 schedule.
