Over the weekend, we went up to the mountains for a soccer tournament in Vail, Colorado. While we didn’t have a lot of time to explore, we were able to do a little sight seeing. Below, are some views from Vail and Minturn not far off Interstate 70. At approximately 8000 feet in altitude, we needed to make sure to keep the sunscreen handy. You can get sunburned easily at higher altitudes even if it’s not that warm temperature wise. While the winds whipped up a bit later in the day, it was a beautiful fall day in the mountains.
