“Frost grows on the window glass, forming whorl patterns of lovely translucent geometry.
Breathe on the glass, and you give frost more ammunition.
Now it can build castles and cities and whole ice continents with your breath’s vapour.
In a few blinks, you can almost see the winter fairies moving in . . .
But first, you hear the crackle of their wings.”

This is a photograph taken in my garden during few days of really deep cold and freezing rain we experienced in Toronto a few years ago..we were left with no power..had to run to the car to get warm..but still..the images of that bitterly cold few days were magical 🙂
Wow what a beautiful thing
Thank you Elenka:) it really was magical!

Thank you Kathy:)
So gorgeous, I hate winter, but love it’s beauty.
Oh, me too:) thank you
Thank you Woody…it really was freezing for few days..so many trees died and got badly damaged..
Wow thats amazing !
I have often seen a tree branch encased in ice like that. It’s so pretty when the weather warms and the water starts dripping from these icicles.
Thank you Blue 🙂
Beautiful
