My Tulip Poplar trees in the backyard are always the first to start losing their leaves. The photo looks like a nice cool fall day. But the temperatures are not comfortable at all. I have enjoyed looking out the patio doors at the leaves changing on the trees. The evergreen cypress trees are behind the poplar tree. And a little bit of blue in the sky. The scene takes me back to Dustin playing football with his friends. They would always meet at our house and play for hours. I sure do miss those days. Lots of memories made.

We all have things to get through in life. Any type of change will usually stirred up memories, both good and bad. This is football season and I really miss Dustin. He taught me how to hold and throw the football. There is a certain way you have to hold it… he said. And… Momma, throw it like this. Oh wow, such good times.

Nice tree, is it platinum Carol?
Thanks, this is one of my Tulip Poplar trees in my backyard.
Fall is my favorite time of year. That tree is beautiful.
Thank you very much Ann.
I am amazed at how fast these poplars grow and the birds love them.
It’s nice tree, it’s a nice place. It’s nice to have memories. Of course they can not forget.
I did not know him, but I believe he would become good quarterback,
Best regards Carol.
You are so kind to say Robin. Thank you for your continued support.
The tree is beautiful in the photo but certainly unpleasant in its original state.
I think we have similar temperatures, which are equally uncomfortable.
Thanks Albert, ready for cool weather for sure.
You know, this night, a very heavy rain had fallen. Well, at least the temperature gets cooler and later I don’t need to water the plants.
Well good for you, I am still doing a rain dance over here. 🙂
Beautiful pictures. I like to sleep under the tree.
Thanks, when the weather gets better me too.
Why, how’s the weather there now?
90s and very high humidity, uncomfortable to be out.
ahhh not a good idea, yes you are right! next time maybe
What a nice place to relax.
Yes this is part of my backyard that I enjoy every day. Thank you very much.
