Grey wagtail

Grey wagtail (Motacilla cinerea).

Another feathered inhabitant of the Balkans 🙂

It is most commonly found along streams, lakes and marshy meadows high in the mountains.

He makes his nest in the holes between the rocks and the crevices of the mountains.

The nest is made up of grass, leaves, moss and roots, and the inside is heavily covered with hair.

Grey wagtail feeds on insects and their larvae, which collects along shores and shallow streams.
