November 19th, 2018. It was the first snow of the season and it was a very wet type of snow so it melted in a day. However, it was still quite beautiful. We had a three-hour drive to a different city so it was a little hectic on the roads but I enjoyed seeing the snow out of the car window. The trees were so full of snow and it looked like a typical winter postcard scene out there.
Today it’s just cold and dry so the snow melted quickly and the roads are fine now.
Wsooooooooo I love snowfalling
It looks like a winter postcard indeed!
Even in our country, we had the first snow but he quickly stepped
It’s nice when snow comes and leaves beautiful sceneries, but it goes away fast because ice is quite annoying if you gotta walk or drive. ?
Here was first snow on Sunday but snowflakes melted quickly.
It melted quickly here too but at least it lasted a few hours.
beautiful… I like it, I missed the snow.
Me too, I don’t mind the snow it looks so pretty outside.
Looks amazing! I would like to be there for like 3 seconds to see it “live” but then be back in my house with my blankets and hot coffee :p
Haha me too, I like to step out, touch the snow and then run back inside.
What a winter wonderland. Stay safe on those messy and dangerous roads. No snow here yet.
Yes we are staying safe, we usually avoid driving when it snows out but we really had to go that day. Perhaps you’ll be getting snow soon, it’s almost December.
Very enticing and beautiful picture. We (here in the Outaouais valley) are having snow since the 16th of November on and off and the trees are slowly laden with it and the ground is all white except for the roads of course. I almost wish I was born earlier when you would travel with a horse drawn buggy and then you really enjoyed that beautiful white stuff. Sorry tzwrite but I am a winter enthusiast big time.
I also wish I would be able to go back in time for a while to have the “horse-drawn buggy” experience! I wonder if people back then were getting excited about the snow or really dreading it.
Oh I am sure it was a mixture of both joy and dread or fear. But what they hey, snow and winter are just great fun altogether, at least for little old me.
