In Bulgaria, it is a protected species included in the Red Book.
The plumage is beautifully combined yellow-black, the beak is red. The legs are blue.
She is a timid bird! It is very difficult to get closer to less than 20 m.
It breeds throughout Europe, Asia and northern Africa.
A migratory bird sometimes travels up to 7000 km during migrations.
It winters in Central and South Africa, India and the Indian Ocean islands.
