Well, I wasn’t really hunting them. Rather, I was hunting for pictures of them. Dragonflies are generally very busy insects, so waiting for them to come in for a landing can try one’s patience. Hurry up and focus, before they take to the skies again. I’ve always been intrigued by them though. They are an interesting looking insect.
