I rarely ever see a “Stick Insect”, it’s a master of camouflage. It can change colour to hide from it’s predators. I saw one 4 days ago and took the opportunity to photograph it.
Its green the colour of my Kaffir Lime tree. This tree is used for its leaves, not its fruit and is great as a flavour in cooking. The “Stick Insect” is disguised in this tree.
Are you curious to see how the other lives? I know I am.
Amazing insect and wonderful photos! I’d be too scared to spend a lot of time around it.
It is relatively harmless, I just used a brush to place it in the garden thanks Ellie
