While backing up our old computer in preparation for donating it to charity, I came across these photos from an autumn trip to the mountains several years ago. The Aspens are the main attraction in the high country during the fall since not many other deciduous trees grow naturally here in the mountains. With that in mind, autumn in Colorado is often a mix of yellow and green. Still, it was a beautiful day in the mountains. The sun was shining, and there weren’t many clouds. Also, fall in Colorado is relatively bug free due to the cold night temperatures and the dry climate, so no mosquitoes.
