I recently posted an update to my backyard bluebirds you can read here: Bluebird Blog Update I talked about the one egg the bluebird finally laid after building the nest six days ago.
Each day the female bluebird is laying an egg. Today was no different. I peeked inside the house this morning and tah dah another egg. As of today, July 4th there are three eggs. A lot of factors go into how many eggs she will lay. If you remember the last nest had five eggs. The normal is between 3 and 5. So we will see what tomorrow brings.
Nature is amazing and can surprise you with so much wonder and miracles. Have a great day everyone.

How exciting. I am sure we are all waiting to see what happens. My friend’s baby hummingbird have stripes now. It is so exciting to see the little day by day changes as baby things grow.
I would love to see a hummingbird nest. I watch the live cams online and they are unbelievable.

This is for sure a miracle of life. My mom has a nest that is almost finished. I tried to get close to it but the mother flew away. How did you get close without the momma bird flying away. I tried to be quite lol
The female always flies away but she doesn’t go far. Just take your time.
