A Winter Visit to the Greenhouse

With winter well and truly established, there’s not much growth happening in the greenhouse. Nevertheless I still need to give some of the plants a little water from time to time. While I was out there today I brought my camera in case there was anything worth photographing. I wasn’t disappointed!

#2 Living Stone

This is a funny looking succulent from South Africa. It's called a Lithops, or Living stone. It doesn't do much, but I think it looks so cool 🙂

    • It’s a great thing, Kim. It allows us keep tender stuff that spends 8 months in the garden, and the rest in the slightly-heated greenhouse, that there just wouldn’t be room for in the house over winter.
