Somewhere along the way in South Carolina while looking for Alligators I came across this Magnolia bloom begging for a photo! The sweet aroma that can be smelled from quite a distance is only describable to me as a mix of sugar and honeysuckle. Just one bloom brought indoors and placed in a shallow cup or bowl, will leave a fresh clean smell that no chemical air fresheners can compare to, and a summery grace that seems to ease all that ails us, and it definitely brings a positive energy to all who enjoy it’s fragrance.

Stunning magnolia bloom, I have a tree in my yard and love the huge blooms.
The magnolia is my very favorite flower and this is an awesome shot, Jason! I can smell the flower through your representation of it. That speaks volumes in photography AND wordsmithing! Outstanding post!
