Lessons can be learned from most all of our life,
especially from our pet dog, even if it’s in strife.
If your dog is naughty, or doing something bad,
is it neglected, needing affection, or is it just sad?
Unconditional love shines at us each day, on display.
as our dog licks our face, displaying its love, this way.
A dog looks up towards its owner as its God, its king.
If we’d do the same, we’d not need any prodding to sing.
Nothing is as bad as it seems, when it happens now.
Dogs show us nothing in life’s misshapenned, somehow.
We should never hold our self back in our own laughter.
Dogs teach us. Embrace fun sooner now, than thereafter.
A dog teaches us not by being our psychiatrist, or guide.
It loves us even in the midst of our own grist, on a ride.
Dogs show wholeness right down to their wagging tail,
so also hold also nothing back, you won’t fail to prevail.
Each animal created is created from God’s mighty love from above.
Love’s embellished not to fit all of it in, as it comes in only to reemit.
Empty hearts can show us that some love has not all, all gone out.
When love comes in, it spins us roundabout, only to be sent back out.
(Do not let your love be boxed up in you, unwrap it, and give it out as a gift to the world, as dog’s do.)

Such a wonderful post and a great message!
Thank-you. I am glad you enjoyed my post here.
Wonderful pictures. The dogs are so cute.
Yes, thanks, I chose the cute ones on purpose.
You have done justice to dogs. I love dogs.
Thanks. I love dogs too.
What a wonderful post and what adorable doggies, Loved this,
Thankyou. Yes, the dogs all have very expressionable eyes.

a dogs love is given without expectation. i really love the imagery around the love dogs give!
Thanks. I also think that a dog doesn’t hate us if it’s badly treated. It just keeps on loving.
It doesn’t understand how to hate. It just loves, like you said, without expectation, but I think it does not understand why it is treated badly, if it is treated that way.
They do feel sad, but they still keep on loving too.
i have had many dogs in the course of my life, they have brought me so much. Anyone that hurts a dog, isn’t a nice person.
I agree. They are not nice people at all. I have only had one dog, and the love between us was so tremendous, that I have not been able to get another dog, again, as yet.
I just cannot ever replace that first dog, the pain is still there, even after five years now, since it died. Maybe, one day though, as somebody told me, that it is not solely all just about me, it is about the dog too. I should give a good home, and a good life to another dog.
I will one day, when I retire, I think.
I think you will find that each dog is unique. They bring to us a special love.
Thanks, Doc, I expect that you are right there.

It seems that I can back comment insert a reply in here though.
Funny, it placed my reply, at the end, in line anyway. The system seems to be a bit buggy, sometimes I need to refresh the page, to be able to comment at all.
