This one goes through my head quite often and I am not sure why. Yesterday I think I must have played it 100 times. My husband formally requested that I not play it for at least a week. He plays the same album for months and then moves on to the next one.
I think this one would have been a great song for yesterday and I like it just as much today.

“Live and Let Die” is originally a song written by Paul McCartney. The lyrics refer to a young naive person saying “Live and let live”. But after being exposed to more of the world and becoming worn down by it, he says Live and Let Die meaning I’m going to do what I want and everyone else can get screwed.”
“I am so tired of everyone taking advantage of me. I’m going to Live and Let Die from now on!”

Yes, it was a theme song for a Bond movie. I rather like it.
Me too! I didn’t realize but there are many versions.
As far as I know, this was written as the theme song to the James Bond movie, “Live and Let Die”.
