“The Drop” – photograph © 2019 – Howard Faxon
For the Macro Monday challenge I present “The Drop”. This is a straight-from-the-camera photograph that I made using a glass drop that I put in a beer bottle. The bottle with the drop was set on the railing of my back porch which was in shade. The bright sunshine of the afternoon bleached almost all of the blue from the sky in the background. The deception of this photograph is that I have presented it upside down. From my years blowing glass I have a lot of glass items sitting around and they sneak into my photography often.
Keep showing photos like this one – this photo is really cool.
Thank you. I will make more. Maybe beer will help like last time. I’m going to need another beer bottle. Cheers.
Thank you so very much. Next week – bug.
Yeah, in reality a very little bug but made BIG, HUGE,

Cheers man! Thanks so much.
I should be the one thanking you
I don’t know what to say to that but cheers.
some folks throw everything and the kitchen sink in their work, but you’ve shown tasteful restraint here…
Wooow, that’s a great idea … the picture is fantastic
Thank you so much. Next week I have a great bug photo I just got.
