Love ItLove It

Last weeks pictures!

My son and I, along with the three dogs went out for a short walk last week. I got a cold and haven’t been hiking, but I did want to get the dogs out, and feel the sun on my face. We went for a short 1/2 mile walk down a little path that parallels the freeway.

You could hear the traffic, but just steps away was a really pretty area. It rained a few inches and the grass is so green!

Here are a few shots.

#1 Green stuff!

These tiny plants coming out of the dry cracked earth. We can get just the smallest amount of rain and all the golden hills turn green.

#2 See

See what I mean? All the gold and brown turns to green for as far as the eye can see.

#3 My son

It was hard to keep up. I was ready to turn back already. lol

#4 The smudge

I must of touched the lens.

#5 The smudge is still there…

But so was Penny with only one foot touching the ground. She was really running fast! I sat down here, in the sun. It felt so good just to sit and smell the freshness, with the sun shining. The dogs had a blast running around.

#6 How many dogs?

How many dogs do you see?

Luckily the cold I had only lasted about a week. I am starting to feel so much better now. Good thing because the holidays are just around the corner. I hope you have a Happy Holiday.

  1. As much as I loved your pictures Kim, I am happy I live in Canada. We really have four different seasons and winter of course, my favorite. But the winter up here has been only grey and dull with little snow. I surely hope we will get a lot more a the white cold stuff. Anyway, again I want to wish you and your brood a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    • This is an El Nino year, we will get lots of rain, but sorry to say your winter will remain mild with little snow. Might as well come visit, bring your swimsuit. 😉 Merry Christmas, only days away now. 🙂
