It wouldn’t have dawned on Gavin that Deja had him in her sights long before she became his tenant.
Gavin had created a pool cleaning company and had hired a few persons that she had known. The men who worked for him, spoke about the house Gavin owned.
Deja did her own investigation, and looking at him, Deja made her decision.
Gavin was an unattractive sour man. He was young, in fact he was twenty two, but he acted as if he were fifty nine. Slow moving, unhappy, not the kind of man any woman would want.
This meant he was vulnerable, and if she played him just right, they’d be married and she’d get the house when they divorced.
