Really it is all about getting this set at home so my brother is taken care of and I can be worry free on our adventure. That means all means have to be prepared, all people who are going to do check ins have to get scheduled times, doctors need to be alerted and we need to make sure he has everything he needs while we are away. I also worked up until the day we left.
Feeling good about the preparations. It is amazing how much time and scheduling is needed when loved ones have serious illnesses and need constant care. I am so grateful that we are here and able to help each other. We are so blessed with great neighbors and family ties. It’s a good thing!
