Around 2:00 p.m this afternoon another fire broke Nout this one closer to home, about five to seven miles in Jamestown in an area that is filled with a lot of ranch land. It burned 230 acres, and is so far about thirty percent contained, no word on evacuations.
About an hour later the smoke even looked worse.
I am just grateful that our hard working firefighters are on this like usual.
We are okay, but I have friends in the area whose homes I am concerned for.
God Bless
Michelle~
Sorry to hear about the fire….that can be scary!
Thanks it’s been a bad year for them.
I can believe that…we’ve got haze from all the fires ourselves
Its not fun is it?
No, fortunately where I am the haze is the worst we have gotten.
Ugh sorry to hear that, be mindful of your lungs!
awesome pic bro!
So good
They are true heros in every sense of the word. Cal Fire Rocks! I am hoping they get this one under wraps quickly, seems they have a great start on it already. Its so dry and hot.. I am worried about this area as well.
Yes they are, and I am so grateful for all they do!
Oh wow. Stay safe!
We’re okay!
That’s good that you’re safe. Has the fire calmed down?
Stay safe and I hope there is no damage to property or loss of life.
Two homes were life but I don’t think any injuries or loss of life!
