Wade and Louise Lunsford who live In Gaston County in North Carolina were facing a huge problem when their old roof that was severely damage due to the beating the roofs due to natural disasters and wear and tear were facing a challenge to replace the roof that would during a thunderstorm would leak inside their home to the point where the couple had to place buckets inside the home due to the leaky roof.
Thanks to a cousin of the married couple who needed a new roof to replace the damaged roof contacted the GoFundMe website for someone to replace the roof that was in terrible condition and a headache for them.
Brandon Johnson who is the owner of the Southern Star Roofing And Construction heard the plea from the cousin of the Lunsfords who could not afford to purchase a new roof.
Johnson who was raised on the principle of assisting people who needs his services without charging money for a roof replacement since he believes that doing business by the giving principle when he saw the trouble that the Lunsfords had living under a leaky roof on top of their home.
Thanks to ABC Construction that supplied the construction material to rebuild the roof and Providence Restoration to fix the water damage inside the Lunsford home.
Johnson is hoping that other businesses follow his example to assist the people who are in need of their services who cannot afford to pay for expensive materials like repairing leaky roofs and other damages inside the home of natural disasters victims.
There are very few such companies. I know what the cost is … I also had to replace the roof
That is true since very few companies are willing to use the giving principal of assisting a needy family.
Businesses that don’t always prioritize profits have a great opportunity to get many loyal customers. Even if it is a form of promotion, it is a sympathetic promotion.
You have a very good point there Albert since the owner of the company remembers his grandparents teaching him as a young person to assist people in need and do not expect a reward at that time.
That spirit made him a noble businessman.
That is true since the owner of the company decided to lead by example doing charity work for that couple.
I guess there were a lot of leaky roofs around
It must have been a lot of leaky roofs in that area in North Carolina after the natural disasters that hit that state last year.
