People had changed tremendously as the modernization progresses around the globe. The behavioural changes of the people show the signs of “lifestyle syndrome”. You might not be aware of the great impact of social media on our lives. However, we cannot refrain from not using modern technology. If we are going to revise the theory in “Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs”, social media through modern gadgets is definitely be included as the basic needs of the people.

Most of us are engaged in social media such as Facebook, WeChat, Viber, WhatsApp, and the like. All of these social media had been used in years to be connected to people. Moreover, there are some behavioural changes in our lives and it cannot be denied. The changes fall into “lifestyle syndrome.”

Here are the common signs of having such a condition:

1. Feeling left out and loneliness

A student’s life had ended and moved to the next level, that is, to face reality in this world. Some people must admit that life became so busy in every direction. But there is always the word balance for everything.

However, it is not always the case. For instance, a person who used to log-in to Facebook as her or his daily routine, it is like a boat sailing in a smooth way along with the morning breeze of the day. All of a sudden, this person started broadcasting that he or she will “unfriend” the people listed on his or her Facebook. The lame reason, some circle of friends in this social media are not active. As she claimed, “What’s the reason for keeping inactive friends?”

 2. Addiction to Modern Gadgets

Some people cannot live without their modern gadgets at hand. It is like life ended so soon for not accessing the social media with the use of the smartphone, iPod, computer and the like. “Can we blame them?” Definitely, we cannot blame them. As it was mentioned earlier, it is considered the basic needs.

 3. Irritable Reaction

Most people who are working so hard in the company. They got irritated if not connected to their colleagues. Taking into account of no internet connection, there is no chance to check their emails. It is crucial to their lives if not being seen and answered the clients’ concerns. It will be a big loss to the company.
