I call Dolphins the Angels of the Sea. They have saved more people than ever known from sharks or ship wrecks.
One recent story in the last 3 years, Im not sure when in the Orewa region of Auckland or close.
A group of surf life guards was having a training session in the sea, when suddenly they were alarmed as dolphins were circling around them.
The leader of the group swam outside the circle and saw a Great White Shark. He swam back to the group and told them to head to the beach.
The Dolphins were protecting them from the Great White Shark. Sharks don’t mess with Dolphin groups.
The Dolphins were the heron of that day.
They are man’s best friend like dogs.

Romans or dolphins, it doesn’t matter. Safety in numbers…
The Dolphins chose to protect people. They were heros.
So were the Romans. Some of the people, anyway…
Romans are very interesting people.
If you’ve ever seen the bundle of sticks motif on Roman regalia, it is a reference to this. They also used dolphins, but I don’t think it was for the same reason…
